These low-smoke Japanese incense sticks are really unique to me, as in the past I have only used regular, relatively high smoke incense, so it was peculiar to see them burn, but give off almost no smoke at all. But by the end of my first stick's initial burn, there was very little residue remaining, and a clear smell of chocolate in the air. I like this one quite a lot, and will undoubtedly order several more scent options. 5 stars.
The Asayu Low Smoke Japanese incense sticks are a premium set of scented, low smoke incense from Japan. I have used other scents from this brand before but it is my first time trying the chocolate scent, and I was fairly pleased overall with the product quality and scent provided. There is a sort of roasted cocoa, wood-ish kind of aroma (just a tiny hint of chocolate) when the incense is burned, and indeed there is very low smoke coming out from burning. No complaints all in all with this incense.
A pure, natural chocolatey scent - ideal to create a soothing atmosphere and take a break from a less than friendly day.
My mom has been using this brand of incense for a long time. They are straight from Japan and don't produce as much smoke when they burn. This one is chocolate scented. It smells more woodsy when actually burning, but with a nice soft chocolaty flavor. Really like them for my meditation sessions.
Very interesting aroma! Yes, it does smell like chocolate. Not sure that I would like chocolate-scented incense, but I do! It's a subtle, pleasant scent, and kind of fun. This is a low-smoke offering by Asayu, so it is much more subtle than one may expect. You get 100 joss sticks per box, and that is a fair value for the price paid. If you're looking for something fun and out of the ordinary in terms of incense, give these a try. I'm glad I did.
