1, Put 1 tbsp sake and mirin in a small bowl and heat in a microwave for about 20 seconds without wrapping to remove alcohol, and remove the heat.
2, Put the sesame seeds in a frying pan and toast them over low heat. (Toasting the sesame seeds enhances their nutty flavor!)
