These are quite delicate fragrances, subtle yet distinct - great for creating an atmosphere without overwhelming the senses.
These two incense sticks strike an excellent balance of traditional Japanese incense with a contemporary sensibility. We use it in small spaces in a smaller home. There is no recognizable smoke, and the fragrance is subtle and lingering. I've wanted somewhat reflective/meditative sticks that steer away from the basic agarwood/sandalwood, which is more endangered/scarce now. The Sakura is not overly flowery, and has a pleasant citrus pungent essence, and it is not overly sweet or powdery in any way -- it is classy. The Green Tea has a tone of sandalwood that stands out, with just the right sweetness without being cloying, again, very classy.
I am 73 and have never incense. I grow bonsai and a young lady in our Bonsai Club uses it when working on her trees. I took a suggestion from her and got some from Assay. I’ll continue using it because it is very relaxing and Zen like
They work great inside.
Love both scents.
