Incense & Holders

Everything we make for burning incense, in one place.

The sticks are made on Awaji Island in Hyogo, where most of Japan's incense has been produced for generations, using natural woods, resins and essential oils rather than synthetic fragrance. They come in two families: low smoke, which gives you the scent with far less of the haze, and traditional smoke, which is closer to what you would meet in a temple.

The holders are Mino ware, thrown and glazed in Toki, Gifu, paired with a brass stand sized to hold a 2.7 mm stick upright so the ash falls where it should.
