You can see the quality of these traditional Japanese sandals as soon as you take them out of the box. They are beautiful, and the design and workmanship are excellent. They are quite firm, so I will wear them in gradually. The toe piece is a bit tough on my toes right now, but I will get used to them. I expect they will last a long time. The sole is very sturdy with good gripping. One thing I did notice is the right sandal fabric isn't glued down fully in the heel area, but apart from that, these are excellent.
These sandals are some of the most well-made and high-quality sandals we have seen in a while. The Japanese really are some of the best craftsmen on the planet and you can see why as soon as you take the sandals out of the box!
My girlfriend loves the way they look, and she says they are very comfortable to wear. The fabric strap feels smooth on your skin, the Igusa rush grass is tightly woven and feels very nice underfoot, there’s plenty of grip on the sole, and they feel highly durable so should last for a long time.
If you like the style of Japanese sandals, then I’m sure you will be really impressed with these. For around £60 I feel they represent excellent value for the quality you are getting. It’s a product I’m more than happy to recommend and I feel they are easily worth the full five stars, buy with total confidence!
I love these Japanese Zori's! I was thrilled to see these available and ordered immediately. These remind me so much of the ones my mom would bring back to us when she would visit her country. These are comfortable with a fabric strap. You just slip your feet into them, and you can wear them daily. I don't recommend them for use pool side or at the gym. They are not water resistant and may also cause you to slip. They are good overall for daily use. The sole is made of a sturdy firm rubber and have some cushioning. The straps or hanao is made of a vibrant fabric and is very comfortable. The sandals are made of a type of straw, but they are treated and smooth and are comfortable. It is true to size. I recommend these if you are looking for a Japanese zori.
