[ 100% Made in Japan ]
Coffee dripper made of real Japanese pottery ceramic in the city of Mizunami, Gifu prefecture. They are made in Mino ware style (minoyaki), which was developed more than 1300 years ago. Mino ware is a protected traditional craft from Gifu prefecture characterized by the innovative glaze use and its unusual shapes and colors, which create different patterns, so no 2 items are the same.

[ Easy-to-use Pour Over Coffee Dripper ]
Ocean blue coffee dripper that can be used not only for coffee but for all types of tea as well. Very simple, easy-to-use (Best use with the Asayu Ocean Blue Accessory Ceramic Mug from the same collection, sold separately). They are microwave, dishwasher, freezer, and dish dryer safe. Not safe to use in open burner stoves or ovens.

[ How to Use? ]
1) Place paper filters inside the coffee dripper.

2) Add about 10gr of ground coffee and bloom it. That is, pour enough hot water to the point where it’s completely absorbed by the grounds, about 30 seconds.

3) From the center, slowly pour 120ml of hot water in a spiral motion towards the outer edge until sinking the coffee. Wait for the coffee bed to stop dripping.

4) Repeat 2 or 3 times. It takes around 2-3 minutes in total.

5) Enjoy!

Perfect Pour Over

"This is my 4th pour over coffee maker, and I think I've found a keeper. It uses inexpensive, widely available Melitta #2 filters, is lead-safe ceramic made in Japan, and doesn't vacuum lock and burble-splash or drip on my counter. For these qualities, I'm willing to overlook it's slightly small size (I wish Asayu made a larger one) and the fact that I can't see the level of coffee in my mug.

Previously, I tried Chemex (expensive filters, small size vacuum locks), Brewista (vacuum lock, burble splash), and a ceramic one I thought was made somewhere other than China, but it wasn't true. Nothing wrong with most Chinese products, but I've had 2 Chinese food preparation items tested for lead and the results were bad."
