Our low smoke incense set is manufactured in Awaji island, Japan's leading area in incense making with natural materials. The ceramic incense bowl is made in the city of Toki, Gifu Prefecture. It is made in mino ware style, which was developed more than 1300 years ago. Mino ware is a protected traditional craft from Gifu prefecture characterized by the innovative glaze use and its unusual shapes and colors, which has been loved by Japanese people for a long time.

The brass burner stand is created for incense sticks of 2.7 mm in diameter. Brass can wear as it ages, so it might slightly fade to a tasty antique color. ※If you prefer to maintain the same brass color, we recommend to use a commercially available metal preserving solution.
