I bought this Asayu Japan incense gift set as a treat for myself, and it's absolutely lovely. The presentation is elegant, and the ceramic bowl holder adds a simple, peaceful touch, perfect for creating a calm atmosphere. Each of the five natural Japanese scents has its own character: subtle, earthy, and never overpowering. The incense burns evenly and fills the room with a gentle fragrance that lingers just long enough to feel relaxing without being too strong.
This comes with what appears to be a hand made and painted ceramic bowl, with a little gold ball which sits in the bowl to hold your incense stick. It comes with 5 different packs of incense, each with 8 low smoke sticks. They burn really nicely giving off a strong aroma while not filling the rooms with a hazy smoke. Its a beautiful set and looks great but for me the main issue is the price.
Beautiful set. The way it's all put together in the gift box feels high quality and luxurious, so I think it would make a really nice gift for the scent-lover or Japanophile. The dish feels like real pottery and the metal piece that holds the incense is surprisingly heavy. I tried burning the sandalwood one and I had to look really closely to tell that it was going, the sticks are very low smoke as they claim.
