The Heritage series is the odd one out. Instead of one shape repeated in several colors, it puts several different shapes together, each closer to an older form than to a matching set.

There is a deep bowl with a brass burner in it, which stands the stick upright and keeps the ash inside the bowl. There are cone holders, one in black and blue and a smaller one in white pearl. And there are two sets of three mini holders, Kazenami and Tokinami, for burning more than one stick at once or for keeping a holder in three different rooms.

All of it is Mino ware from Toki, Gifu prefecture, a craft that has been running there for more than thirteen hundred years. Choose from this page for the shape you want, not for a set that matches.
