I am really happy with these. They really try not to be low smoked/almost no smoke and they smell really good. Really Zen like I'm in a spa.
Labeling this product as incense sticks doesn't do it justice. This product is vastly superior to any other high quality incense I've tried. I bought this pack this pack for the chrysanthemum, but the "Japanese Garden" blew me away. The soothing woody scents chosen for this one reminded me of the fireplaces back in my home town in Patagonia, Chile.
I’m Buddhist and I am use to sandlewood incense sticks from when I was born until my 20s. I tried the Japanese garden low smoke incense and I am not joking it just smells like something is burning. I tried lighting it different ways and it just smells like something is burning. I can’t use these incense sticks and just wasted my money. I really wanted to like these.
I have been using the Satya brand of incense for a a few years and decided to try a different brand.
"The Asayu Zen Scent Set scents are delicate and certainly live up to their 'low smoke' claim- I have yet to notice smoke at all. There is something most elegant about them- even the ash is neat!
Asayu is more expensive than Satya and I consider them worth the extra cost."
