Mino ware is a protected traditional craft from Gifu prefecture characterized by the innovative glaze use and its unusual shapes and colors, which has been loved by Japanese people for a long time.

【Mini Lotus Incense Plate Holder in Cherry Blossom Pink】
A beautiful design in the shape of small lotus flower that is delicately flowating in the water. The cherry blossom pink color brightens any room and it is applied in 2 layers of glaze. These glazes are individually applied by hand by the local Japanese artisans. Great for home decor (living room, bedroom, etc) or office decor (desk, meeting room, etc. You can also just use the incense plate for burning incense cones.

【Brass Incense Burner Stand】
Incense holder stand created according to the thickness of Asayu Incense sticks of 2.7 mm in diameter (incense sticks sold separately). Brass color can wear of as you use it and, as it ages, it might slightly fade to a faded antique color. ※If you prefer to maintain the same brass color, we recommend to use a commercially available metal preserving solution.

【Easy to Clean and Store】
Since the stand has a deep hole to put the stick in, the incense stick will not move and ashes will not be dispersed around, being easy to clean. In addition, the smooth surface of the incense plate makes it easy to wipe off. The width and depth of the incense plate make it difficult for ash to scatter. ※Please use it in a place without wind.

Zen Elegance

"I love Japanese pottery and this incense burner from Japan has all the traditional Zen qualities of beauty and elegance. The lotus shaped bowl in shades of cherry blossom pink, is about 2 inches in diameter but will hold a considerable amount of incense ashes. A gold weighted ball positioned in the middle of the bowl holds one thin incense stick—all of which adds to the serene design of this lovely item from Japan. This would be a perfect gift for meditators or anyone who appreciates fine ceramics."

Lovely little piece of Japanese pottery that does the job intended

"I'm not an expert on pottery, but this looks very pretty in person. The Japanese make a lot of great, inexpensive pottery, so I also can't gauge how expensive this should be, but it's finished and designed quite nicely. The brass incense holder sits in the center like a golden pearl. It's also actually deep enough to hold the more common kind of incense that has a stick at the base, and the perfect size for Asian pressed incense that's doesn't have a narrow stick at the core, like most incense sold in the US.

If you've fiddled with various types of incense, you know that the rolled kind generally doesn't sit well in other incense holders, and the little holders that come with Asian incense packs are generally not suited to re-use with other incense types.

Overall, I'm happy with this. It works well and looks great!"
