Zen Black and Gold Incense Holder

【Specification】
Size: L 100 × W 100 × H 45 mm (L 3.94 × W 3.94 × H 1.77 inch) | Weight: 160 g (5.64 oz) | Material: Ceramic/brass | Origin: Incense plate: Japan (Toki, Gifu prefecture), Incense stand:Japan
※Incense sticks not included.

【100% Made in Japan Incense Holder】
Real Japanese pottery ceramics made 100% in the city of Toki, Gifu Prefecture. It is made in Mino ware style, which was developed more than 1300 years ago. Mino ware is a protected traditional craft from Gifu prefecture characterized by the innovative glaze use and its unusual shapes and colors, which has been loved by Japanese people for a long time.

【Versatile Zen Black and Gold Glazed Incense Plate Holder】
Beautiful design with a subtle golden shining color glaze. This provides a wabi sabi feeling, which is one of the aesthetic senses of Zen based on simplicity. Each pattern created by the glaze flow has a different expression. Enjoy the different colors and textures depending on the viewing angle while burning incense and enjoying the scents. You can also just use the incense plate for burning incense cones.

【Brass Incense Burner Stand】
Incense holder stand created according to the thickness of Asayu Incense sticks (sold separately) of 2.7 mm in diameter. Brass color can wear of as you use it, and as it ages, it might slightly fade to a tasty antique color. ※If you prefer to maintain the same brass color, we recommend using a commercially available metal preserving solution.

【Easy to Clean and Store】
Since the stand has a deep hole to put the stick in, the incense stick will not move and ashes will not be dispersed around, being easy to clean. In addition, the smooth surface of the incense plate makes it easy to wipe off. The width and depth of the incense plate make it difficult for ash to scatter. ※Please use it in a place without wind.

Beautiful piece

"I know this isn’t some handmade expensive piece, but it’s beautiful, well made and is much nicer than the usual cheap wooden box burner."

Best used for shorter incense sticks

"A beautiful incense bowl, great value, looks great just needs to be used with smaller sticks as the ashes tend to fall outside the area of the bowl with taller sticks."

ART WITH FUNCTION

"The photos do not due this justice. Came carefully wrapped. There is a beautiful presentaion box. Inside bowl is carefully wrapped as well a the little brass incense holder. The brass holder is perfectly weighted so heavy on bottom so no concerns about incense tipping over. The bowl itself is a work of art. I am glad the brass incense holder is removable since the bowl itself can stand alone as a piece of decor. Mine proudly sits on my modern glass coffee table. I have burned the short stick japanese incense in it. I have used longer joss sticks in it by snapping off the long plain wooden part and then inserting just the incense part in the holder. Perfect Zen feel and.look alone or while burning incense . Would definetly gift . Worth the price ."

Love it but,

"I love this with one exception. The metal part that holds the incense is not "Glued" down in the bowl so it moves all over. I did glue it to the bottom so it does not move, but that would have been better if it already came like that"

Collectible Art Craft

"This bowl is so beautifully and professionally crafted. For its quality, the price totally worth it. It’s not those ordinary ceramic bowls you find in stores. It has a metallic resonant sound and shine when you touch and see it, simply amazing. Every facet of this bowl has unique patterns and colors. I bought two but they are too big for my altar. However, I decided to only return one, because it would be a pity to not keep one for its collection and appreciation value. This traditional Japanese incense bowl is a piece of art and a representation of Zen."
